I felt guilty because of all the plastic though, so I stopped. With Outlander we have good caterers on set, but I've also used meal prep companies in the past. To combat it, I always have a box of protein bars with me. The main challenges I have with diet are finding good options when on set or travelling. Savoury works too (unflavoured powder here) I've cracked an egg on top, spring onions, tahini.
Adorn it with a banana, almond butter, sprinkles, frozen blueberries. I always have a flavoured protein powder in there, chocolate or vanilla, and you can put anything you want on top of it. There are infinite ways to enjoy porridge. It's probably the number one power of food for me. My body does well on carbohydrates, especially porridge. In the end, I always end up going back to eating cleanly. I’m always curious to see how my body responds to things.
I've been a vegan, I've gone through Atkins diets, full-on carnivore diets, I try new fads quite a lot too. By contrast, when filming Text for You, a romantic comedy coming out later this year, I wanted to lean down as much as I could, so more cardio and a cleaner diet. So when I did Bloodshot with Vin Diesel I had to bulk up as much as possible and therefore ate more, did heavier strength and less cardio. When I do other projects, I adapt my Outlander routine to them.
